Jairus' daughter diorama
Jesus and his disciples were walking along a town street by the lake of Galilee. As often happened, crowds gathered around him, listening to him as he taught them about the kingdom of God.
Suddenly, a man walks through the crowd and approached Jesus; he was Jairus, one of the leaders of the synagogue. “Master,” said Jairus while tears ran down his face, “my daughter is very sick. Please come and place your hands on her so that she will get well and live!”
“Of course,” said Jesus. “Show me the way.” (Based on Mark 5:21–24, 35–43;)
